Getting around
Directions
From Bremen, take the A27 motorway and exit at junction 9 Bremerhaven Wulsdorf. Follow the B71 and turn off at the junction in Beverstedt towards Bad Bederkesa. Follow Wollingster Straße and turn into the last street on the right at the end of Osterndorf. You are now on Seeweg. The house is the third on the left. Drive into the cul-de-sac; there is a double parking space on your left that you are welcome to use. You have now arrived at your temporary home.
Neighborhood
Just a few kilometers away are several large lakes that are perfect for swimming, and just 50 meters behind the house is a large pond in the forest that will make your four-legged friend's heart beat faster. It also attracts the occasional angler. We have something for everyone.
Visit the wonderful animal park on the edge of Beverstedt at the Kulturhof. Here, a former veterinarian and his wife are saving regional animal species from extinction. We highly recommend a visit to get to know the different animal species of the region, which are cared for here in a spacious outdoor area. In addition, events are regularly held on the grounds and in the adjoining café. http://www.cux-art.de/
In the town center, just 2 kilometers from your front door, you will find everything you need for daily life. Various supermarkets, hairdressers, bakeries, and small, charming boutiques.
Enjoy long walks and bike rides or visit Bremerhaven, just 25 kilometers away, and explore the Klimahaus. Here you can sweat even in winter. Discover many different places around the world along the 8th longitude without much effort, expense, or travel time: https://www.klimahaus-bremerhaven.de/.
When you are in Bremerhaven, you should also visit the interactive and impressive Emigration Center, where you will learn more about yourself than you may have known before. https://dah-bremerhaven.de/ - The restaurant attached to it is also recommended: https://dah-bremerhaven.de/speisesaal/.
A visit to the Mediterraneo, a very special shopping center right next door, is also well worth it. In addition to its unique flair, it features small boutiques and restaurants: https://www.das-mediterraneo.com/. Take the opportunity to stroll along the dike and enjoy the North German sea air. You'll find all this in one place.
In addition to Bremerhaven, we can recommend a visit to Cuxhaven for sea lovers, where you can experience the North Sea to the fullest. If the tides mean that the sea is not visible, take the opportunity to try mudflat hiking https://www.cuxhaven-tours.de/wattwandern.html and visit Cuxhaven's landmarks – it's well worth it.
About an hour away, you can reach Bremen and stroll through its large and charming old town. Enjoy the evening with delicious food and drink along the Schlachte or let yourself be carried away by young blood and try out the various bars in the district.
You can also reach and explore Hamburg in about 1.5 hours via the A1. Visit the Speicherstadt and get properly scared in the Dungeon. We are happy to help you plan your trip on site with tips and recommendations. Don't hesitate to call us and make an appointment with us right away.
